Suspension Bridge in Tuscany: assembly of the deck

During October 2016 will be completed the operation of assembly of the steel deck elements of Stadano Suspension Bridge, in province of Massa-Carrara, Tuscany.

The four locked coil main cables were mounted in July, the hangers were installed in August, and in the meanwhile the 100m approach viaduct was casted.

The 180 m central span is going to be assembled with a rythm of two/four elements mounted per day using a mobile crane that works in the riverbed area, that is temporarily landfilled.
