President of Tuscany Enrico Rossi visits Stadano Suspension Bridge

In occasion of the Press Conference about the reconstruction works after the 2011 flood, President Enrico Rossi visited Stadano Suspension bridge, that is now completed and waiting for the load test.

Pavimentation is done, and finishings are now ongoing: towers’ and deck’s painting, rail installation, lighting system.

The construction of the whole bridge took place in less than 2 years, while the deck’s assembly was completed in only 10 working days, thanks to the construction method optimization.

The bridge has total length of 295 m, of which 195 are with steel structure and suspension cables, and 100 m is the length of the concrete access viaduct; the cost for this bridge was 8.5 mln euros, and it will be inaugurated before August 2017
